Liberty Hill 4-H Club

Gardening and Horticulture
Want to learn how to grow vegetables that your family can eat for dinner? Join the horticulture project! Students can complete various tasks and can even go on to earn (JMP) Junior Master Gardener certification. Students will explore the exciting world of plants, insects, water, soil, and ecology. Students can do community service projects to help provide healthy food and beautiful landscapes.
The JMG program curriculum is aligned to the TEKS for grade 3-5 and 6-8. This year Liberty Hill 4-H will be parter with local Master Gardeners to explore their personal gardens/farms. This will be a great opportunity for the kids to do some hands-on work in a garden, learn from experienced gardeners, and potentially have a small project or takeaway they can continue at home. The Master Gardeners will teach us what plants work best for our area and the correct season to plant certain fruits and vegetables.
Dig in and get growing!
