Fashion and Interior Design
Do you like to be creative in what you wear and the space around you? The 4-H Fashion and Interior Design program is perfect for you. In this project you can learn to design, construct and be a smart consumer when purchasing clothing and household items. Have fun creating environmentally friendly projects while exploring careers in the fashion and interior design industries.
This year we are going to focus more on learning how to sew. Beginning sewer are welcome, but should have a parent with them to help monitor their progress. The parent does not need to know how to sew, just the willingness to help their child. A sewing machine is not need to get started. We have several for the kids to use during the project meeting.
In the spring, we also focus on several competition. Participation is not required but encourage. Fashion Show, Duds to Dazzle and Storyboard. More information about these will be shared at the meetings
